The Montgomery County Fair Association would like to invite you to attend “Kid’s Day “at the
2020 Fair! It will be held on Monday, March 30th and Tuesday, March 31st. We would love for
your school or daycare facility to participate in “Kid’s Day”, geared specifically to school-aged
children and pre-school aged children.
We are working hard to put together educational and entertaining activities that are appropriate for
these age groups. Activities will include a Petting Zoo, Animal Attractions, Bee Keepers, Farm
Animal/Garden, Magic Shows, Tractor Pulls, a fire truck, ambulance, and police vehicles and
much more.
We plan to have a volunteer meet the groups of children from the various schools upon arrival (AT
THE MAIN GATE) and serve as a tour guide. These tour guides will help in showing you where
everything is located and answer questions you may have. Also, guides are all volunteers and
availability is dependent on their schedules (we can’t guarantee a guide). Please bear in mind that
the Fair will be in full force with animal check-ins, shows, etc. Although caution should be
exercised, the hustle and bustle will allow children to observe the happenings of a true county fair.
We will have an area near the main gate for picnicking. Feel free to bring blankets and eat where
ever you like.
We must know if you are coming and the number of children and chaperones you will be bringing.
If at all possible, we are asking you to bring a parent volunteer for every 10 children. Please go
online to https://www.mcfa.org/events/2020/kids-day4 and click the ‘Register for Kid’s Day’ button to
RSVP. We ask that you RSVP by February 28th
.
**Shortly before the Fair, an email will be sent to the email address you provide during registration
that will include a schedule of events for each day, as well as a grounds map.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Fair Office by phone or email amber@mcfa.org
