Splash Pads and Water Parks

We will all be searching for fun and cost effective things to do this Summer. I don’t know about you but in the water is where my kids want to be. We’ve gathered some information about location splash pads and adventure parks in the area and we’ve listed them below.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Park

This splash pad in new to Conroe and it’s literally a hidden gem! Our family’s have gone multiple times and it’s always clean, fun, and exciting. There is plenty of seating in shaded spots and room for you to dry off an hit the basketball courts or jungle gym. This is definitely the a must visit for anyone in Montgomery County, TX.

Conroe Aquatic Center

The Aquatic Center, located at 1205 Candy Cane Lane, includes a zero-depth, seasonal leisure pool featuring a graduated beach entry, an interactive play structure with water blasters, mini slides, a water curtain, and giant tipping bucket spilling 400 gallons of water periodically.

Big Rivers Waterpark

“Big Rivers Waterpark and Gator Bayou Adventure Park are two fun-filled destinations at one location. Both are part of the Grand Texas development, located north of Houston near the intersection of Interstate 69 (aka 59) and Highway 242. Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort

Located in Hempstead, 35 miles northwest of Houston, this Texas campground features cabin rentals, tent sites, and RV camping. Activities around the park include visiting, the George Bush Presidential Library & Museum or the San Jacinto Monument. Newman’s Castle & Bakery.

Hurricane Harbor Splashtown

Splashtown offers a variety of family, fun, and thrill activities! Their park hours are generally accommodate most groups. Pricing and information can be found on their website.
